Why you need this course
This training will discuss components of healthy workplace cultures based on staff safety and belonging, shared vulnerability and shared purpose. The basic factors of trust are empathy, authenticity and logic. It all starts with staff; their Behavior drives culture. Culture always drives performance and Culture always trumps strategy. Cultures of care start with leaders who care who hire people who are authentic and genuinely care about others.
Learner Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Define the meaning of culture and explain how it relates to an organization’s mission
- Identify the 4 key factors that contribute to powerful teams
- List 3 management behaviors needed to build employee commitment to the culture of care
- Describe one company’s philosophy of ensuing positive employee relations.
Teaching Methods
Training may include self-paced learning, audio and/or video and computer-assisted instruction. Use of case studies, examples, question and answer periods and group exercises will be used.
Evaluation Methods
Participants will be provided an evaluation form that addresses satisfaction with the presentation, with the facility and with recommendations for future presentations.
To evaluate the participant’s newly learned knowledge, a 10 question post-course test will be used.
